Nissan’s announcement of £1bn investment and 1600 jobs for its North East plant to produce its next generation electric vehicles has generated significant interest in companies contributing to Nissan’s supply chain, as well as for those contributing to the automotive supply chain as a whole. Friday’s (02 July 2021) late night ITV news featured a segment on north east companies aligned to the electrification process.
We were delighted to allowed to demonstrate how our investments not just in additive manufacturing, but also CNC engineering and more traditional production technologies such as vac casting and reaction injection moulding, provide an on-shore solution to development and production of electric vehicles.
