Position Description:

Due to a promotion, we have a position available for an Administration Assistant to join the business, providing support to the Senior Administrator, Projects Team and the Continuous Improvement Engineer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the office environment ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the Company.

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the Project Team by creating sales orders in line with customers’ purchase orders, raising order acknowledgements, tracking of customer orders and maintaining customer details and part numbers.

• Supporting the Production & Continuous Improvement Engineer with efficiency tracking, scheduling of work and cost reduction exercises.

• Booking couriers for the shipment of goods both domestically and internationally.

• Sourcing of supplies by raising purchase orders.

• Maintain the Company’s expenses and petty cash systems.

• General office administration tasks including reception and switchboard.

      Working hours

      The Administration Assistant will work:

      8:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday

      8:00 – 15:30 Friday.

      Essential

      Qualifications: Good basic education to GCSE standard or equivalent (GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English)

      Experience: Minimum 2 years administration experience. Working in a busy office environment

      Knowledge & Understanding: Excellent knowledge of general computer packages and office equipment e.g. Microsoft Office
