EPX 86FR – the V-0 rated epoxy for real-world automotive, industrial and consumer applications

EPX 86FR is a flame-retardant resin for use in Digital Light Synthesis polymer additive manufacturing.  This material has an unmatched combination of functional toughness, high strength, and long-term stability. It works well in a variety of applications for consumer, automotive and industrial markets that require UL 94 V-0 ratings.

Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing for production, is a viable alternative to traditional manufacturing for certain parts in an assembly. Parts made with EPX 86FR are heat resistant with an HDT of 135°C. They show an excellent retention of material properties during high-temperature aging, temperature/humidity cycling, and thermal shock.
