Selective Laser Sintering

SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING (SLS)

Why 3D print with SLS?

  • SLS offers manufacturing capabilities from small to medium-size batch production

  • Perfect for validation prototyping, model making, flexible wearables, casting cores, and chemical resistant end-use parts

  • SLS parts are formed from Nylon powder (PA 650 or PA 615). They are tough, durable and can be dyed.

Selective laser sintering, or SLS, is a powder bed fusion process utilising thermoplastic polymers. It is suitable for prototyping and also for low to medium runs of functional parts.

SLS offers high levels of design freedom and high levels of accuracy. It produces 3D printed parts with good, consistent mechanical properties and excellent layer bonding. Printing is fully self-supporting (requiring no support structures) enabling complex geometries.
