Paragon Rapid Technologies announces BTCC partnership with Árón Taylor-Smith

Paragon Rapid Technologies operates at the forefront of rapid prototyping, low-volume manufacturing and advanced engineering, working with clients across a wide range of high-performance and technology-led sectors. A new partnership with Taylor-Smith will see the Teeside Airport based company represented in the pinnacle of British motorsport.

Taylor-Smith enters the 2026 BTCC season as one to watch after being crowned the 2024 BTCC Independent Champion along with over thirty outright podium finishes. Árón Taylor-Smith will join Laser Tools Racing as part of his BTCC program, linking up with one of the championship’s most established and competitive outfits. The move sees Taylor-Smith align with a championship winning engineer for the first time in his BTCC career.

Speaking about the announcement, Taylor-Smith said:
“I am over the moon to get the opportunity to represent Paragon Rapid Technologies for the 2026 season. They are at the forefront of their industry with a great alignment to the BTCC given their field of expertise in heat shielding. I was fortunate enough to meet Ryan just before Christmas and straight away it felt like a perfect partnership. I am really looking forward to putting a show for everyone at Paragon this season.”

As part of the partnership, Paragon Rapid Technologies guests will have the opportunity to join Taylor-Smith trackside throughout the season, gaining behind-the-scenes access to the BTCC paddock. Guests will be able to experience the championship up close, spending time with Taylor-Smith and the team as the season unfolds, with a particularly strong Paragon presence expected at the company’s home event at Croft Circuit, where a large contingency of guests is set to attend.

Ryan Wake of Paragon Rapid Technologies added:
“Working with Árón is about far more than a logo on a car. He understands what it takes to make a partnership successful away from the track as well as on it, and that was a big factor for us. The branding you’ll see is only the beginning of the relationship, and we’re really looking forward to developing it over the course of the season. The Croft race weekend is one we’re especially excited about, with a lot of our team and guests coming along to be part of it.”

With preparations continuing behind the scenes, attention now turns to the start of the 2026 BTCC season at Donington Park on April 18th and 19th. As the countdown to the opening race weekend begins, the partnership between Taylor-Smith, Laser Tools Racing and Paragon Rapid Technologies heads into the new campaign with momentum building and expectations high for what lies ahead.
