Vacuum Casting

A fast, cost-effective method of producing low numbers of highly detailed, highly accurate polyurethane components with similar properties to injection moulded parts. When it comes to making models, we use vacuum casting to produce housings, covers, casings, lenses, plugs and filtration systems. Parts can be flexible or rigid. We offer a wide range of materials, many of which have appropriate flammability ratings and can be coloured and over-moulded.

Reaction Injection Moulding

The RIM process lends itself well to freedom of design. Suitable for large parts with both thick- and thin-walled sections. RIM parts are dimensionally stable, durable and chemically resistant making it an excellent choice of technology for building display models to be exposed to the elements. They are tough and yet can include intricate detail.

RIM moulds are typically produced using the highly accurate CNC process; or alternatively a 3D printed pattern master is used to produce a silicone mould.

Silicone Moulding

Liquid silicone rubber possesses excellent thermal, chemical and electrical resistance. The quick curing process ensures parts are rapidly dispatched for market focus research, and many prototypes are immediately re-created for end use. Silicone flexibility varies from 25 Shore A to a hard rubber 90 Shore A.  Silicone moulding can be used key pads, piping systems, seals, plugs, diaphragms, manifolds, wire connectors, wheels and lighting assemblies, as well as skin-like replications and prostheses.
